mom dad and family

the weeks just keep going faster and faster. it is just crazy. we taught our investigator derek this week. he is coming along slowly but surely. when we were going to teach him we thought that it was going to be a bashing session. but it turned out really well. he had studied for 6 years with the Jehovah's witnesses. so he is really familiar with the bible and stuff. we ended up answering some questions and taught him a 2nd lesson. when we invited him to be baptized he said well we will have to play that one by ear. we aren't to sure on his commitment level but we is willing to learn and stuff. this week we have zone conference and have to drive 2 1/2 hours to lethbridge to go. and we did have a thanksgiving dinner but conference is on thursday so we wont get to go. if the missionaries go to grandmas that is the mission that all of my district from the mtc went to! don't worry mom I'm behaving!! time is just flying by. hope you enjoy the pictures!!

well transfers are today. nothing is happening in my companionship. and yes we celebrate veterans day. its called remembrance day I'M STILL HERE!

well nothing too exciting happened this week we picked up a new investigator named derek. I'm not sure what his commitment level is but he wants to meet with us. my companionship is doing fine. we are getting along great. i usually get along with all my companions except my last one. and it turns out that all his companions have not liked him either

ya i know it wasn't just me. i can get along with anyone. yes mother i am taking pictures!!!! hahaha the weather is warming up. it was -22 on sunday!!! which is 0 where you are from. we got about a foot of snow this/fri and a little bit on sat. but now its sunny and a warm -1:)

hmmm well we got a call last week from a member and she said that she has a friend that wants to be taught. so we went on friday to teach him. his name is derek. oh before i forget. my and elder leany are planning a cross country moped trip. and i only have 4 transfers left! i had a dream last night that i came home and nobody was there!!!!!

i know its six months!!! time is just whizzin by!!! so far I'm doing pretty good on staying focused.

the aps are doing great. it was the zone leaders that were having issues. but they are doing fine now. they are fine. this week went by way too fast!! not a whole lot happened this week. our investigator shannon was sick. and we had appointments cancel! i can’t believe the week went as fast as it did. we went to bow island for church yesterday. it’s almost a branch! it was weird to be in a ward that small!! medicine hat is great. it’s a small city with farms all around. hmmm I'm not really sure what i want for Christmas. maybe some ties or something. i don’t really want a whole lot cause i will be coming home pretty soon. all my clothes and stuff are in really good shape still. if i think of anything with in the week i will let you know!! well i hope you have missionary experiences this week

mom dad and family,

well this has been one heck of a week! i only spent 2 days (Friday and sunday) in my area. i spent monday tuesday and wednesday with one of the zone leaders cause they hated each other. and then i spent another 2 days with the other missionaries because one can't drive and the other's international license (he is from korea) expired and it snowed so we weren't going to make them walk. needless to say nothing effective got done this week (elder leany says hello!!) in our area. but we did have a mission conference on saturday with elder M Russell Ballard. i think you might know who he is. and Craig C Christianson and Elder Walker also spoke to us. it was really neat to be taught by an apostle of the Lord. he was only with us for about an hour he mostly was trying to inspire us to keep going and to light the fire again. it definitely inspired me to go and work harder! President Monson flew in on sunday for the dedication. it was Sister Monson's birthday so he stayed home for that! hope you have a great week.

this week was great! first last tuesday was awesome. we went to the calgary temple with our new investigator Shannon. it was a great experience to be able to go with her! the spirit in the temple is just something that cannot be explained. she really enjoyed the temple and the spirit that was there. the temple is just so beautiful. we also had 2 lessons with her this week and she came to church on sunday. the lesson we had with her on sunday was great! the spirit was really strong. when she gave the closing prayer she started crying through it. and the spirit was so strong. yesterday the library was closed for a staff meeting. we woke up with 5 inches of snow this morning!! winter is here too early this year! I'm glad that grandpa is doing better!! i didn't know that he had cancer!! we have to go to calgary for a special mission conference on saturday. I'm pretty excited to go to it!! and the calgary temple is being dedicated on sunday!! this week should be pretty good. oh ya we have interviews on thursday too. this week is just full of meetings!! hope you have a great week. remember to invite your friends!!!

nope the library was closed yesterday so you didnt miss your chance!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! time is just flyin by!!! i really like medicine hat. the people here are nice and i just like the small city feeling. i dont really like the "big" city. it is out in the plains of southern Alberta. it is also really close to saskatchewan. my companion is elder vincent from kaysville utah and he goes home one transfer after me. i met kaylen tanners uncle last week on the golf course. he was talking about his sister going to india with her husband for 3 years. and one of her old young womens leaders is in my ward as well. there are lost of people that i have met that know the tanners!! hope you have a great week.

hello mom dad and family

this week was pretty good. we went to a members for dinner on wednesday and i know you are thinking you go to dinner almost every night with members but this time is different. we thought it was going to be like any other dinner that we have had in the last year and almost a half. except that there was a non member friend there!! so we weren't really sure if she was a member or not but my the end of the night we knew that she wasn't a member. we shared a message with the family (just a husband and wife) we shared Jeffery R Holland (who is my favorite apostle if I'm allowed to have favorites) his testimony of the book of mormon mormon message and we talked about the book of mormon a little bit. she started asking questions and we answered them and shared some of the first lesson with her. she accepted the book of mormon, a return appointment, we are going with her and the members to the calgary temple open house tomorrow, and she is our new investigator we are teaching wednesday. hope you have a great week. going golfing today with one of the zone leaders elder coleman. weather is still pretty nice. we did get a tad bit of snow some time last week. i cant remember when but it is gone and a whoppin 55 degrees Fahrenheit today.

conference was great! i was looking in the crowds to find you... but i didn't see you! there was some exciting news that president Monson gave! i don't think that it will really affect me though because by the time they start to leave and stuff i will already be home or close to coming home. this week was pretty good. it has been slow because of transfers and conference. he haven't done a whole lot yet. yesterday as you know was thanksgiving here. we have had turkey on saturday and yesterday. yesterday was pretty good. we just had dinner and when to the bishops house. it was a pretty relaxing day. today is p-day cause they had a zone leader council yesterday so it was changed. i got transferred to medicine hat, alberta. its a small city of about 60,000 people and about 50,000 of them are police officers!!! hahaha not really but there are a lot of police officers and photo cops! i still am slowly but surely paying off my tickets. i have about 200 dollars left to pay! tickets are expensive!! my companion is elder vincent. i really like him. he is funny and easy to get along with. i wanna fly to phoenix if that's alright. i wanna have the "airport" experience. we have two investigators right now. we are teaching rita tomorrow and we don't have an appointment yet with the other one(i forgot his name). hope you have a great week!

sorry.... transfers are tomorrow so pday is today. I'm getting transferred. don't know where just know that i am leaving the city of calgary. this might be my last area!!! that is crazy to think that holy cow!!! i only have 4 transfers left. so this might be my last area! this week was pretty good. we had one of our potential investigator lessons cancel which is too bad cause now I'm leaving. but the other missionary coming in will be able to teach her. we went to the temple today as a zone. the stake presidency took us up. it was really neat to see the temple and feel of the spirit inside. we went on a private tour with the stake president as our guide. the temple will be dedicated at the end of october. we are just trying to stay busy and are working hard. we stopped by some one yesterday (cant remember who...) but they weren't home and so we went and talked with this man that was out side working on his car. we had a pretty good discussion with him about religion and stuff. we gave him a temple invite and a book of mormon. he said that he will read and study the book and go check out the temple!!! that was pretty cool that someone actually listened to us!! hahaha well i hope you have a great week.

dear mom dad and family,

this week was pretty good. we taught tons of member lessons a few less active and our investigator louis. nothing too exciting really happened. i am tired of my companion. we don't get along that well. but I'm trying to make it work. but there are some days that i just wanna get away from him though!!! but we do, do alright sometimes. we haven't decided when to baptize louis yet. but will probably be some time in the next month or so. we are picking up a new investigator sometime this week. she is a friend of a young women in the ward. so that is pretty cool!! we are going golfing with a member today for p-day. that should be pretty fun!!

that is pretty sweet that you are getting hayden that. i wrote him an email but just in case he doesn't get it tell him happy birthday for me!!! what is this girls name that tanner is taking to homecoming? can he drive yet? tell him happy birthday from me as well!! so dad i don't know if you remember but a while ago you met a couple at church from calgary that lives by sister white. well i met them yesterday. they aren't in my wards but their son is. i have met sooo many people that either have a house or know somebody in arizona. our baptism didn't happen cause we felt that he wasn't ready. but we are still teaching him and he came to church. but other than that our week was alright. just trying to hang in there. so i guess we should kinda start to think about what is going to happen after the mission. like where am i going to fly to? are you going to come pick me up? just stuff like that. in the next transfer or two the mission calls and asks that its called a trunky call. and the transfer after that i get my trunky papers. which is my flight stuff. so its just something to think about!!

this week was pretty slow so it seemed. our investigator louis is doing great. he is getting baptized on saturday!!!! we are excited about that!! we have been trying to get to know the members of our area cause we didn't know all of them too well. we also have been trying to work with the less actives and part member families. we have been trying find new people to teach but are having a hard time at doing it. we had to get elder nicholson's dry cleaning yesterday and we started talking with the cashier and she was pretty interested in what we had to offer. the only thing though she didn't give us her info but she took ours... we also talked about the temple in the north west of the city and gave her an invitation to the open house. the open house starts on the 29 of this month and goes till the 20 of october and the dedication is the 29. we don't have anything to do with the open house or anything!! just the sister missionaries. but we can go if we take an investigator!! we went to banff national park yesterday and it was rainy and cold!!! there were a few snow flakes that fell yesterday!!! it was crazy! we didn't get to spend too much time there cause we left late and its an hour and a half drive and needed to be back by 6. but it was still fun to go and check it out!! we did do a little hike to a water fall. hope you have a great week

wow sounds like a big project!!! so what kind of dog is tilly? this week was pretty good. we are starting to be busy. we had 2 different men just walk into church and ,kpoop (courtesy of elder park) we are teaching one of them today and he is getting baptized on sept 15.

some girls. dont know who they were. it was funny cause i turned around when i heard the whistle and the girls just busted up laughin!!!

 

they think you are cute cuz you are so spiritual. daniel allen is having cake and ice cream at his house tonight cuz he leaves for the mtc tomorrow morning. bitter sweet.

oh dang!!! that is crazy. tell him not to have any cuz he will get it almost everyday for the next 2 years. i am getting fat!!! i have gained about 25 pounds or so!!!! its crazy.

He has a belief in Jesus Christ but some other things he has problems with. I can’t believe that they are going so soon!! When does Jared leave? The temple in Calgary opens for open house in like 3-4 weeks. and then it will be dedicated soon after. President Monson is supposed to come and dedicate it. I really hope that he comes and speaks to the missionaries. The libraries are going to be closed next Monday.

this week was pretty good. we picked up a new investigator yesterday. her name is morgan. she is 16/17 and her friend (in the ward) invited her to meet with us. so we taught her. she is really open to everything that we taught her. she didn’t accept the invitation to baptism but she said that she will think about it and talk to her parents about it. she will get baptized in the next few weeks. we helped our members with some of her gardening and after we didn’t have dinner so she went and got hot dogs and smores and we had a fire. that was pretty fun. it reminded me a lot of home though. it wasn’t very good... transfers are tomorrow. i am staying in this area and am getting elder nicholson. i have heard that it is going to be a hard transfer for me. i am not too excited for this... oh well. hopefully its not too bad. sounds like you are having lots of fun!!! we are trying to have fun but not too much fun:) dad when is your elk hunt again? i talked to one of the mandarin speaking missionaries yesterday and he is from eager and coach workman is in his ward!!! it is such a small world!!! well i hope you have a great week

sounds like you had a pretty good week. i wont tell you how our weather has been. but it hasn’t been hotter than 30 Celsius here!!! summers are really nice weather so everybody leaves. we did a lot of service work this week. mostly just helping sister cairns (the lady we live with) in her garden. she needs help pulling weeds and such. we stopped by lots of potential and former investigators yesterday and nobody answered the door!! but we did teach some less actives this week. work is really slow in the summer time and it makes it hard to want to do anything. but we are still trying. we have a investigator lesson this week though. a young women in our ward invited her friend to meet with us so we are going to on friday! i started writing in my journal again. i have been really bad at doing that. but i have done it for the past 2 days in a row:) we are having a multi zone pday today. the foothills zone is coming up here to play basketball with us. it should be fun!! why does time have to go soo fast? it only feels like i have been out for only 6 months! i try not to count the time but some days i just stop and think and than it hits me that i only have a little bit of time left!!! well i hope you have a missionary experience this week

well this has been a hectic week. we have had zone conferences and zone meetings and stuff. our investigator lesson this week cancelled. we are having a real hard time finding investigators to teach. summer time here is just crazy. it seems like no one is ever home!!! school starts in 3 weeks so hopefully things will pick up soon!! this week we help the person we live with in their garden pull weeds. it reminded me of all the weeds that i have pulled back home!!! i cant believe how fast time is going!!! oh one more thing. president nicholas has changed a lot of the rules. and one of the rules he has changed is a mutli zone pday. so we can get together with other zones!!! we are doing that this pday so i will let you know how it goes. hopefully this week is better for us!!! have a great week.

it’s alright. sounds like you had an exciting weekend!!! there was a storm that blew through cardston and they had baseball size hail that hit some of the windows of the temple and i guess broke them.  things here are pretty good.  we didn’t do a whole lot this week. he have had meetings and then zone conference this week. so we have been pretty busy with stuff like that. we did stop by a potential investigator and set up a return appointment. he is really busy but said we could come by next sunday. once we start teaching him he will get baptized. he is a really nice man and you can tell that he is sincere about this. how are the archibald's doing? i really like them. sis archibald is an angel. they have been home for a month now!!! the seelys were great to us. they are a family that i wanna keep in contact with. we have a weekly planning session as well as a nightly planning session that we do for the next day. we have a personal planner that they give to us every transfer that we keep all our appointments in. yes i have my personal prayers. we have companionship prayer most nights. i am in calgary. we cover the midnapore and sundance wards in the calgary south stake. the members are pretty good. some of them are excited to do missionary work and some aren’t but i have had that the whole mission. well have fun at school!!! are you teaching pre school again?

well this week was alright. we had investigator lessons fall through. we taught lots of members this week and are trying to get them to invite there friends. we stopped by the stringham family and their daughters have someone for us to teach. but she is on holidays till the 5 of august. it has been pretty warm here. we had a week of in the 90's. most people around do not have air conditioning. which is silly!!!! but they only need it for maybe a week. but the house we live in has it and it is sooooo nice. i can't believe school is starting. everybody here doesn't start school until september i think. most everybody leaves for the summer and it is really hard to get a hold of people. where is daniel going on his mission? that is crazy that he is leaving! hope you have a great week!

well i didn't know sam and bridgett. that is cool though that his uncle lives in pincher. I'm sure that some of the older folks in the ward would know him. i miss pincher. calgary is way different than the small farming town of pincher. there are just too many people here!! oh well i will have to get used to it. i cant believe how fast time is going!!! there are only 9 more months until i will be home!! i am starting to miss you a lot!! but i love being out here serving the Lord and the people in the area! it is going to be a sad/ happy day when i have to leave canada. we should get a cabin up here! hope your feeling better!

good morning!! or afternoon!!!

sounds like you have been having a really good time!!! her name is tanya seely. their family is awesome!!  so has isaiah started his papers yet? there was a missionary farewell in the mindapore ward yesterday. it was CRAZY! it seemed like 6 months ago that was me up there doing the same thing!! i can not believe how fast time is going!! my companion is elder tabler from fairview utah. he is really funny/ goofy. i enjoy serving with him! the area is a little slow though. they just had 2 baptisms and so there are no more investigators but we are looking for them! there are 2 lakes in the

area. its kinda like val vista lakes. there is a subdivision around the lakes and you need a  membership to get in or at least know somebody that has one. a member in the ward took us there for a picnic dinner one evening. it was pretty fun. it reminded me alot of the picnics we went on. a roasted chicken with potato salad and stuff! the house we live in is AMAZING. there are 3 floors and no stairs!! just an elevator!!!! we pretty much have free reign of the house, except for the theatre room and stuff like that. the members we live with the cairns, are pretty sweet too! he really likes mustangs and has an old shelby in the garage. i wish we could drive it. hopefully things start to pick up here!!

ummm not sure. I'm not too fond of the city. and i don't know too much about the new comp. just know his name. elder tabler

Isaiah says hi. he is playing games on his computer.  i don't think dad wrote yet.  he has been sick since late sunday night.  he went to work yesterday for half a day and then came home and slept.  i don't think he went to work today.  i called him, but he didn't answer.  i think he is sleeping.

tell him i said hello back. that's alright. he just passed a kidney stone. so how was cali? did you go to disneyland or anything?

about cali....i could tell you we did not go to disneyland, but is it bad to lie to a missionary?  yes... we did go to disneyland.  we also went to california adventure, universal studios and sea world.  we were also able to meet larry's family at the beach.  they were on their way home from northern california.  it was a great vacation, in spite of dad's trip to the hospital and emily getting stung by a sting ray and all the kids getting stung by jelly fishes. 

so tell me about pincher creek...do you have any investigators?  hayden just woke up and says hi.

i cant believe you went to disneyland with out me!!!!! pincher is slow. nobody is keeping their appointments. i am going to miss pincher alot. i just love being there

i wasn't going to tell you!  we went for hayden, he is now tall enough to ride the rides he couldn't before.  they took out the maliboomer and made that area a smoking area.   we were all bummed. 

why weren't you going to tell me? we will just have to go when i get back!! i cant believe they took out the maliboomer!!!!

i didn't want to make you feel bad.  we will go again when u are home.

well sounds like you are having a rough vacation. i guess that's what happens when you go with out your favorite son!!:):) this week was pretty good. we picked up a new investigator but she is moving out of the mission on the 6th. but we took her on a church tour anyways and it was really good!!! we were able to teach her things that she had never heard before. and than last night we watched joseph smith prophet of the restoration with her at the ludwig's house. we got a new mission president on the 29 of june. his name is president  nicholas. i really like him. we went and had a meet the president yesterday and we got to know him. he is a great man. we had a council of what we liked in the mission and what we didn't like. he listened to everybody's opinions and not just the leaders. president archibald is from st. george. hope you have a great week. transfers are next week so i will be on around 11 am.

dad i am sorry to hear that it is wicked hot down there. its really nice here. other than we have only had 1-2 days of sun in the past week. i got the package and i love the asu shirt. there is a sister missionary in the zone that is from cottonwood and went to U of A when she was back home. i give her a hard time for being a wildcat!  i am glad that i am able to serve a mission. i love being out here and serving the Lord. i heard that you had a baptism this weekend. that is sweet!! you don't have have to miss me too much longer. only 10 months but who is counting. time is just flying past!

this week was good. we did see the Gregory's. and i love the package that was with them!!!!!! i love the ASU shirt and otter pops. where did you come up with those ideas. we had a movie night on sunday. we watched the avengers.... no I'm just kiddin!!!! we watched joseph smith prophet of the restoration.(the new one that is like an hour long) we invited the ward to invite their non member friends to come to the movie. we only had 2 non members and 48 members. but it was worth it.  we stopped by a potential investigator yesterday and he let us in and we had a good gospel conversation with him. we are going to teach him on thursday while we help him with some sodding. that sounds like a really good weekend. so where is the picture of dad in his whites? dad is getting baptisms just like me!!!! president archibald is leaving this friday. its going to be a sad day to see them leave. i am going to miss them. guess what. tomorrow i turn 14 (months) time is just flying by!!!! so kyler gregory told me that tanner isn't wrestling this year? why is that. he is going to need that next year to be able to beat me!!!! hahah not sure that will work!! tell emily to slow down!!! hahaha love you all

i hope every week that you are on so we can chat. it was pretty good. we taught a drunk man that has been trying to give it up. but wont do anything about it. we ran into some friends of yours the bullock's at the gas station in pincher!!!!  its a funny story on how we started talking to them. you have to put the license plate down to put gas in their car. so i said "that is a wierd place to be putting gas" and we didnt know they were members. we started talking and they were from the ward back home!  (they came from Canada first).

we saw a bear yesterday!!!!!!  we were in waterton. its only 50km from here.  the bear was right on the side of the road. i could have spit on him from the car.

 i have gained about 25 pounds now.  suprisingly the clothes still fit. if i gain anymore they won't.

 emily that sounds like lots of fun. so how are the dates? better date while you can only 10 more months and i will be home to scare all the boys away!!!!!!!:)

you arent allowed to date anyways. i will arrange a marriage for you hahaha. whats his name? tell him to leave you alone for another 10 months and i will take care of things!!!:) 

Okay. Find me a cute missionary and I will send him my picture from my senior photoshoot mom is giving me for my birthday. Hahahaha

ya no not happenin. you are not allowed to date any of these missionaries. remember they are still 19 year old boys!!!!

well this week was pretty good. our potential investigator told us that they are moving!!!! if we could teach them they would get baptized!!!! we did some service for a man in our ward bro westrop. he has about 700 acres of land. and about 150 head of cattle. needless to say he has lots more than our little farm!!! but we helped brand the calves. it was really fun to do that with them. we had dinner over there on sunday and they invited some less active members also. they are really good missionaries. so how are things with the neighboors? are they gettin baptized yet? our investigator from Jamaica works at tim hortons (its like dunkin donuts) and she hasn't had a day off yet!!! its a little discouraging because it just gives satan more time to work on her. tell emily that she isn't old enough to be a senior!!!! is tanner keeping the boys away from her?? he needs to open the door with rico on a leash or something!!!! love ya

Mom,

 I enjoy being out here and serving the Lord. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!! So, when are the Gregory's coming up here? Are they flying or driving? I was thinking I would like some cereal, and the doctrine and covenants DVDs. And we get the ensign for the apartment. We picked up a new investigator yesterday. She is from Jamaica. The Ludwigs in the ward are good friends with her and she just emailed them wanting to meet with us. She works alot so its going to be hard to teach her all the time. Transfers were last week. I'm still here in Pincher and my new companion's name is Elder Young from Sandy, Utah. He is a good kid. There are worse people to be serving with. We are getting a new mission president at the end of this month. It is going to be different not having President Archibald around. Well I cant think of anything else to say. Until next time.

Well,

As for missionary work. it has slowed down. We have been teaching less actives, recent converts and members. All our potential investigators have cancelled their lessons. We are sorta teaching this man who is less accountable but other than that we are teaching nobody. Hope things are good around the house.

I forgot to tell you, transfers are tomorrow and I am staying in pincher and getting Elder Young. I don't know much about him. He has only been out for like 6 months and Elder Sorenson is going to foothills in Calgary.

That sounds like fun. Well, most of our lessons have been cancelling, But we have some set up for this week. We went to Waterton National Park, which is glacier national park in the states. It was cold and rainy so we didn't really do much, but it was fun!! We saw some big horn sheep there and there were some big rams there!!! It was making me want to go hunting soooooo bad!!!! tell Emily happy birthday for me. I got her something from Waterton and will send it today. Hopefully she gets it soon!!! love you all

well things havent really changed since i talked with you. it was soo nice to talk with all of you. tanners voice is getting deeper. we went golfing yesterday and it was almost 30!!! it was sooo hot that i am sun burned now. but its nice to have color back in my skin. hope you have a great week

Dad,

things are pretty much the same here as well.we aren't having much success on finding investigators to teach. most of our appointments fall through.  that is good that the missionaries are going to you. that means that they like you and you are doing missionary work. we try use the members as much as we can and try to build their faith in missionary work. we are on exchanges today and i am with a missionary who has only been out for a few weeks. it should be fun. talk to you on sunday

well lee and joyce sound like a good contact. the best thing for you to do is to be a good example and to invite them to church functions and to hear the missionary discussions in your home. our recent convert betty (who is 72 years old) told elder sorenson that the reason she let him and his companion (which was not me at the time) come back is because she knew some members of the ward and they were good influences on her.  in Doctrine and Covenants 35:12 says "there are none that doeth good except those that are ready to accept my gospel" so any good person that you know is ready to accept the gospel.  sounds like the missionaries were having a rough time!! tell them not to go so fast down the dirt roads!! we are going to be getting a tandem bike from a member to ride around town when we are out of kilometers!! we have mission tour this thursday and elder melchin who is the area authourity is going to be there.  we have been facing some adversity. most of our potenial investigator lessons have been falling through these last few weeks. but that only means that the miracles are going to start! and they have. we had been looking for a potenial for about a week or so eh. and when we went to the general area of his trailer and he was outside (by the way these trailers are nasty! im glad we dont live in a trailer!) so we set a return appointment for sunday evening! have a great week

i can not believe that it has been a year!!! it has gone waaayy to fast!!!  sounds like hayden is following the rest of us. we went to the bike park in pincher creek yesterday. it was lots of fun and im still alive!!!! do you know where they went? were they in stirling? we got a new ward mission leader in the pincher creek ward. brother ludwig is the leader and his wife (sis ludwig) is a ward missionary. they (and their family) are awesome!!!!!   our teaching pool is still slim. we have lots of potenials that the ludwigs have been working with. we are teaching one family on saturday!!!!  so i guess if i have to send pictures than i think its only fair if you send pictures too!!! i atached some pictures of the recent baptisms. the older lady is betty, tristan is our little native kid and the family is judy conrad and travis. i cant remember what else is there so just ask and i will tell you!!

well dad this was an exciting email. i am a little jealous that you go drawn!! but we had a baptism on saturday which is just as good. we have had a slow week. transfers are tomorrow and we are both staying. elder sorenson will be here for 7 and a half months. things are pretty good here love ya!

well i cant lie to you so i opended it already. (His hump day gift.) i will send pictures to you when i get it. teaching pool is empty now. we are working on filling it back up. we went to the temple this morning.'

you betcha i got my package!!!! thanks soooo much for everything. i havent made the cake yet but im going to this week. i got my package on monday though. we had to drive to cardston to get it from the zone leaders though. there was a member in the ward that had us over for birthday dinner and they gave us easter baskets!! they are a really sweet family. i really enjoy pictures though!!! is there enough money on my card to by an adapter to plug my memory card in so i can send pictures? it shouldnt be more than 20 bucks.  this week was great. we had a baptism on friday. easter sunday. and we are on exchanges today so i am in vulcan (yes dad it is a planet on star trek) and elder sorenson bought 7 cans of shaving cream to fill their tub with it. so this morning after my shower i did that and filled the toilet and sink with it. it was really funny. i will have to send the pictures to you later.  transfers are a week from today and it looks like elder sorenson is leaving. i think my next companion will be the assistant to the presisdent right now. i think he will go district leader and serve with me. at least i hope so. he is a really neat elder. my trainer (from a year a go!!!!) is the new AP. just thought i would let you know!!  have a great week

Is anybody on today?

     We had pday today cause of interviews yesterday so we were able to go to the temple!!! it was lots of fun!

     Conference was really good. We watched it at the church. I am contemplating on buying a bike. I'm not sure if I will or how I  will pay for it. We are having a baptism on the 14 of April as well. She told us on Saturday that she is ready and that it is time. That was the best thing I had heard all weekend. Elder Sorenson has to email comment sheets again tomorrow around 10 AM our time so you can be on again and we can chat.

dad,

We taught our investigators. went to the Crowsnest Pass and stayed the night there. my companion is Elder Sorenson from Idaho. He has been out for eight months now. We are teaching 3 people in the pass. Judy and her two boys Travis and Conrad. they are getting baptized on Saturday.  I am really excited to be there. than in Pincher we are teaching Betty and Tanya. Betty comes to church every week and is going to get baptized in April. Tanya has never been to church and is facing opposition from her family. That sounds like you had lots of fun at the game!!! How is Tanner doing in baseball? So are grandma's goats just going to stay or are you going to take them back?  It snowed on Sunday and we got about an inch or 2. I wish  we could have a blizzard or something exciting like that.
